Improving typing speed

Dang! just took the test and here are the results:

38 wpm @ 87% accuracy.

I just did the typing test last night. I only got 55 wpm at 94% accuracy. It was late at night and my desk really isn't a desk. I will have to take a picture so you can see it. It is like one of those laptop lap desk things. It is wierd.

thats actually pretty good if your actually typing like your supposed to, with ur fingers on the home row. me on the other hand i get about 70wpm and i use about 5 fingers in total

I've never used the home row method. It's very head to unlearn my bootleg typing strategy and learn the home keys, but the typing master software seems to work very well. I've only been through the first 3 lessons and I can already touch type half of the keyboard (although not very fast)

I'm gonna keep up with the lessons and get more involved with trillion messenger. thanks for the replies.

I got 51 wpm, 100% accuracy. I use something like 7 or 8 fingers when typing, almost home row style.

I use a method kind of like the home row method. I use all of my fingures but I kind of move them around the keyboard.
