Processor isn't as great as I wanted but that damn money factor

Intel Pentium D 950 Presler 3.4GHz 2 x 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor

Graphics

XFX PVT71PUDD3 GeForce 7900GS 256MB

memory

OCZ Platinum 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)


Will be a huge upgrade for me though

Was running an IC7-Max 3, so i had DDR1, socket 468, and AGP.

Everything is arriving today according to UPS (God help me if your wrong UPS!!!)

Anyways, i'm just excited

OMG would ppl stop talking about the speed. the speed doesnt matter!!! more calculations per clock. yes it is better to buy the core 2 duo. it is better in every aspect.

It's no contest. Core 2 Duo FTW! But they really are better, they are still faster, even at lower clock speeds.

Yep, the Core 2 DUO is a no brainer. The best form of processor out right now. No contest.

Here I am with my 3500+ Single Core Athlon 64 ...

me too, i lag behind the current technology available. I think this summer I will do some upgrading too.
