Seems like a lot of Vcore when compared to the following from XS Forums

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...34&postcount=1

I'm guessing it was a unstable (Prime95/IBT/LinX) suicide run.

Nice clocks but I wouldn't be doing it too often if you value the cpu

Yeah, that's exactly what it was. However, the temps are manageable and oddly enough it's quite stable. I'm running a Prime95 test right now.

That'll be interesting, don't forget to post up the results.

Which cooler are you using?

As I said, hilariously enough, it's the stock Intel cooler. My WC set up sprung a leak so I just slapped the old cooler on.

Once I have the WC set up running, I am hoping to raise the frequency even higher, while keeping the Vcore around 1.475.

I just took the highest Vcore at which temps are still more or less manageable. I prefer overclocking with the Vcore at it's max. Less trouble that way, I only have to worry about raising the frequencies. I decided to stop at 4.5 for now simply because it's 5:50am here, I have not slept as of yet and I do not want to make an error and end up crippling my rig.

Ahhhhhh, thread title, missed it there as it doesn't show up on the front page, not bad temps for a stock cooler then, what is your ambient room temp?

60 degrees Fahrenheit. Never a degree higher or lower, I love my little fridge of a room haha.
