How XP boots up! (Don't flame until your read it!)

Wow... there is alot. Most happens before the Windows loading screen starts to appear...
and a computer can do that bit in approx 8 seconds on a cold reboot...
 
I actually like the checks to see if the core voltage on the CPU is right before powering up. That must save quite a few systems I'd imagine.
 
Lots' of processes going on during this phase, and it happens so fast you would never know all that was happening, although spyware and/or a virus can slow it to a crawl.
