i did this too my PSP. Now i can play downloaded games and what not. But make sure you don't screw up the pandora's battery. If you do, you'll screw up your PSP. Make sure you follow every step carefully.

Once you've completed the Battery (being the hardest part) then the software installation, you're simply laughing :P...you can have and play any game you're heart desires.
I would get a bigger memory card tho, games end up taking a lot of the space.

how does the battery affect hacking the psp? i see it says you have to turn it into a service battery or something but i cant see what effect that would do. obviously it does do something but i cant imagine hpw

If you stuff up the battery,It simply wont boot from the memory card.It wont do any damage,You'll just have to buy another battery.
