May be able to find better ones cheaper elsewere, but Newegg is quicker in the time I have before I leave.

Your best bet is to look up camera reviews on Google. There are tonnes of sites that offer information on the top 10's, etc.

I trust the PhotographyBlog for reviews on cameras

My advice to you is to go for a Canon, by far the best quality in picture having said that its also down to the operator as well, (Keen eye, attention to detail, steadiness etc) I have to Fujis 3500 and 9500 fine pix but one thing they lack is the ability to capture moving objects well, if you are intending to use it for Sport or fast moving objects then Canon is the make for you, my wife has the EOS 300D and my in-law has the EOS 400D and they are fantastic cameras but they are not cheap. however my daughter is 7 and has a 7m pix Canon cant remember the model and takes beautiful pictures so I recommend Canon 100%

For some reason the link won't work when I paste it

It's a Canon Powershot A2000 with image stabilization.
