The Bugatti Veryon has a top speed of 253 MPH if I remember correctly, and was the fastest street legal car. I'm not sure if it retains that title, but I think it does.

The tire shred in 15 minutes may or may not be true depending on what kind of tires you have. But that does sound like a good estimate for street tires, if they will last even that long.

It's okay though, because you'll probably run out of gas before then.

On Top Gear they test drove the Veyron and he sadi just thatr the tires will shred in 15 minutes, but its okay because you'll be out of gas long before 15 minutes

Also, there is a street legal car that could walk all over the Veyron lol:

Edit: My favorite part, "Then, it got real serious when he added some stickers" haha

i think people are trying to say the fastest road legal car you can buy as standard,

also the amazing thing about the veyron is i actually got to look inside and its luxurious its not like the konissegg or the stripped down 911 gt3 or anything like that its luxurious inside it has air con and stuff a boot lol

Nope, 'fraid not. The "car" in my pic is a crappy East German Trabant, manufactured after World War II. Basil Fawlty's car was an Austin 1100.

Enjoy your boring, stock European Ford Focus. I'll just get sick of every second car on British roads being one of those damned things, seriously I'm bored of them. At least a Trabant kind of stands out as being different, regardless of the fact it's a load of total cack even when it doesn't have a tree growing out of it.

For the record, I was putting files into a loft above a garage at work yesterday and there was a midnight blue Aston Martin parked in the garage. One of the firm's clients (solicitors) rents the garage and stores the car in there. Absolutely beautiful thing, I just stood there gawping at it. I got a pic on my phone but I think I might be in trouble if I upload it.
