Yeah i know but if thats all people have a pc for to check email and stuff then why bother having a console and a pc in your house it makes more sense to have one but yeah i get what you are saying PC still prolly gives more functions per $$$ compared to a games console

oh and to run crysis minuim your going to need a 3.2ghz single core
with 1g of ram and a 7600 or up
So? If I wanted to go web browsing on a console, I'd rather do it with a PC. Theres a reason why it's called a game console.

Well, from what I see it also needs DX10 to have good graphics, so you probably have to have Vista too.

Eh, I saw some speculated final specs before...

I can tell you right now you won't need a quad core

Anyway, recommended specs were supposedly just a dual core processor (yes, even just Pentium D) 1.5 GB RAM, and a 7800GTX+ graphics card (DirectX 10 equivalent).

Not really. Even now I'm running Vista fine. Using about 67% of my 1GB of RAM. It's not that bad.

Argh! They already said a 7800GTX can play at fairly high settings, on the unoptimized crysis.
