Explainn more please, or use Valve Help forums.

I cant remember about adding the cd key, but normayl, i just click Create New Account, then after that, i create and add the cd key in, the only proplem i can think of is that the CdKey is being used, because you can get cd keys from shop and write them down.

anyway, holla back if it aint what you think.

maybe a firewall is blocking the program from accessing the internet?

Haha, I have Zone Alarm and it works perfectly fine.

To check that the firewall hasn't blocked it though, check the Programs list. You may find Steam is disabled or something.

For instance, if you have ZoneAlarm, open it up, and go to the Program Control tab on the left, and then to the Programs tab at the top, and run through the list.
