On your desktop picture that you posted in the desktop thread how did u get the clock and calendar in the top right corner? If anyone else knows let me know! Thanks

I saw a compaq computer and there was software that came with the computer that had a clock there.... Or I think it is just a picture...

Desktopx is what he used i would guess it allows you to appy windows themes made by you or other people on the net.

The calendar is Rainlendar from here...

The clock is called ClocX from here... http://beam.to/clocx

They both require a bit of tweaking to get them looking like have got them, so read the help files...

I like to skin my comp, infact I change wallpaper, visual styles, bootscreen and the welcome screen... lots of fun.

this program allows you to run Non-Microsoft visual styles, as one of you mentioned.

this one takes some learning, although it is much easier and safer than doing it manually, it allows for changing boot screens and logonUI's.. very handy.

looks interesting... doensn't look like it's main features are for desktop customization but I'll have to check it out
