Here I am- On the i3 and Ubuntu

And now the i5. I've done DLed and installed a bunch on the Ubuntu since 7 pm.

Nice to know we have something we can use and not pay for it like MS. MS can stuff it when the time comes.

So did I but Linux is much better because the user don't have to jump through the hoops to get the software.

Windows: You want the software? You can try it for 10 days and then you'll have to pay for it if you want to keep it.

Windows: Do you agree to the terms? Click on I accept the terms.

Linux: You want it? Here.

Seems that the filing system of Ubuntu is frustrating to work with. Windows started to look better.

I had Ubuntu running on one of my spare hhds , now I'm rocking Windows 10.

I have to agree that the free OS of Ubuntu is awesome, but on the flip side of that....getting software to work on it is kind of a pain. For instance I could not get my DVD burner to work on Ubuntu.

That's one thing I haven't tried. In fact, I didn't see it in the file system.
