In the U.S. But in Canada for those people who make more than $150K, they pay $75K in medical "taxes" so technically, the health care is not "free" after all. In the U.S., there is just about 20% (ish) that comes out of your paycheck and the rest your to what you like with it like buy health care (but ALOT less "expensive" than that of Canada).
