If you have a CRT, it'll only be 480i, which means interlaced.
Its the way CRT's display images, even and odd lines one after the other in a series, usually at 50fps, but some can support 60fps, i.e some games on the Dreamcast,etc had 60hz settings.

You can get a progressive scan crt that will display 480p. Not very common though.
