Default Hate it when my parents act like kids..

So today... my dad got pissed for childish reasons again... We are eating dinner, and all talking as a family, the 4 of us. My parents signed me up for some business class at milwaukee school of engineering, and I am pissed about that a little bit... and thats all they were talking about all dinner, so I ate quick, and acted uninterested. They know I dont want to go anyway. I finished my dinner and put my dishes by the counter, thats how we always do it in our family, then my parents usually do the dishes. So I sat down, not at the table, and took my phone out, cause I was tired of hearing about this class... My parents told me to put it away, so I said fine, and put it in my pocket. Earlier that day they had request I weedwack/string trim the yard, cause we have company coming over tommorrow. So I just went outside and said I was going to do that. I was already angry, so then my dad comes outside and tells me to put my dishes in the dishwasher... knowing he is just trying to make me angry and trying to secure his power... I responded in an uncaring monotone voice, "you will have to think of a better excuse to make me angry" and grabbed the weedwacker and went to go start it. I knew that would make him angry, besides, I didnt do anything wrong yet. So he says in his quiet angry voice, "You Sorry SOB, if I have to put those dishes away, you will be in deep shit." I turned to look at him, and acted like I was going to take him seriously, and started to act like he won, then I used my uncaring voice again and said, "Hey, watch your mouth next time." and walked away again. Not wanting to lose computer priviledges, I thought of a better way to piss him off... So I walked inside, put my dishes in the dish washer, looked him right in the eye, and said, "Weedwacker is all ready and set up outside, feel free to do the yard anytime tonight. And I walked upstairs..." I pissed him off, but there was nothing he could do...
I'm not proud to say this, but one time I pissed him off, he tried to use force to control me, well... he has about 30 pounds on me, even being twice my size, so I overpowered him easily, and it just didnt work for him. So I walked upstairs not turning around to even look at him, and went to my room... He goes and turns the power off... I didnt say anything. I was thinking of maybe saying my insulin pump needed charging or something, but decided not to say anything. It ended up being my innocent sister who complained to my mom that her DS charger was broken... Now the power is back on, after 30 minutes, and I still havent said a thing to my dad. I just acted calm, and uncaring, I think it just makes him feel that he is losing, or that he has no power, which is my goal.

Anyone else have problems like this at home?

Nope. When I was a kid i used to do as I was told and not back chat. And if I did I expected a kick up the arse. Something kids need more of these days.

I was "talking" to my dad too. I wanted to switch computers with my brother and upgrade it, as I need a better CPU. At first he says it's ok, then he's like no and starts to explain me all the problems that could arise (BIOS, re-seating the CPU, etc). We argued a little then he's like, "If you want something better, sell your laptop". At first that's what I wanted to do, but my mom said my dad wouldn't like that, so I went with the upgrading idea. Now that he said that, I'm looking to sell it. So not even 15 minutes ago, I get a call from them (they went to see some show with my brother, I didn't feel like going) and my mom is like "If you wait until Christmas I'll give you $100 and your dad will give you $100." I really like this idea, but idk if I can wait that long. This CPU is getting to my nerves. So I'm thinking about selling the laptop, then with the money, get all parts but graphics card. I'll use onboard or something. Then, at Christmas, I'll just get one really good card. I know I'll be losing out, BUT I CAN'T STAND 1.73GHz!!!

edit: Now this is pretty *@&$*(!& gay. I just called them. I told them that on Facebook Marketplace, there are a lot of crappy computers being sold for much for money. I saw a laptop with like 1.5GHz Single Core, 512MB RAM, integrated graphics for 450. So I go like: Ok, I can sell this laptop get around $600 and build something new (I don't game very much), then I can use the $200 for gas and other stuff. Guess what I hear? Oh don't sell the laptop, trade it with your brother and upgrade his computer at the end of the year. Now this about did it for me.

my sister is like that... "don't make my computer work better so that the printer will work right because even though you know what you are doing when it comes to computers I cannot take a one in a million chance that it might take more than 5 seconds"

Not really... kids get there say now, its much better this way. Parents are not always right, but they do always think they are. I dont listen to my parents when they are rude about something, if they want to ask me respectfully, I will listen, if they ask rude, I will not listen, that's the way I am. I demand respect for me to give it, parents or boss, it doesnt matter.
