yes it would because then the sticks woulnt have to "take turns" giving the L2 data :P

Lol I guess, it would have to switch between the sticks pretty damn fast to do that. Maybe it will have it's own CPU responsible just for the striping and stuff between them or something, IDK.

I GOT IT
8 sticks of 1 gig(faster) with a cpu with 8 L3's 6 L2's 4 L1's quad core BAM disowned
THEN have like 8 of those in RAID(inculding the cpu's) KABOOM! super duper savage ownage computer BUT WAIT add intel's 80 core at the center that would run like 20 bf2's and 20 supereme commanders at the same time lol

SSD is fast, but the price is wayy too high. Wait until they get cheaper.

It has the potential to be standard for notebook because of the reliability, but for desktops it'll take longer. Until SSD can surpass HDD in terms of capacity and price, it'll remain a niche product.
