Woah .. a thread on good movies and I haven't seen Scarface mentioned once ... disgusting I tell ya, disgusting.

Anyways - my faves:

Scarface
Swordfish
Scent Of A Woman
Basic
Gone In 60 Seconds (Remake - Nicolas Cage)
Godfather Series (all)
Planes, Trains and Automobiles
The Exorcist
The Ring (all - Japanese Versions only)
Face Off

I'll think of some more later.

I'm all for War/ Action movies.

-Platoon
-Full Metal Jacket
-Saving Private Ryan
-We Were Soldiers
-Black Hawk Down
-Thin Red Line
-SWAT
-Top Gun (for the pretty realistic Fighter scenes)
-Stealth (for the uber cool planes and fighting scenes
-The Fast and Furious series (not for the movie itself, but for the awesome cars and chicks).
-The Matrix (for the lobby scene)

I like Platoon and Full Metal Jacket, Saving Private Ryan just went on forever and ever.

The Green Mile is good, though.

I bought Spaceballs the other day, it's funny too.
