Prey is an epic game. I suggested it because you said you like sci fi and fps, and it is both. It will also run well on your system.
All the half-life games are good as well, just in case you don't have them. Lol and halo.

Yes it is. It gets really awesome though.
Oh and every game sniperviper listed should run on your system. I have a similar system in my parents' room.
If you haven't played it before, check out return to castle wolfenstein. It is often cited as being one of the best fps'es of all time.
