good fps program?

yeah fraps is ok.
Also most games have a built in command that displays the fps. Use google to find the command for the games you want.

ive heard u can display the fps from cs 1.6 from typing something in the console. how do i do that?

xfire also has a FPS dispay, but its only when u enter the ingame menu, which renders it impratical

are there any programs like Fraps? other then Fraps?

i dont think he means a program to record games

by running fraps it displays the FPS in game, its not just a recording program
