Gmail notifier

Does anyone know any good gmail notifiers that aren't for the windows sidebar? The reason is because I am looking for it for Windows 7 which I don't have the sidebar loaded. I use one with Vista that I like which is for the sidebar and makes a noise when I get new gmail. But I'd like a standalone one if there is one. Not one that you use with widgets or gadgets or firefox or whatever. Also if it can be set to make a sound that'd be preferable.

I use a gmail notifier on my G15 keyboard. You could use that if you had it.

i have one that goes into the task bar by the clock
