I personnaly prefer Gmail than Hotmail. Gmail has 2.00GB+ of storage and you can also check mail via Outlook Express...I love Gmail!

Since I got invited.. (When no one heard about Gmail and the people that did.. You couldn't even get an invite), I've been using it.. I love it..

Fast, easy, quick search of the emails. never have to delete. And as mentioned, OE can check.. They also provide pop3, webaccess, email forward, sigs, filters.. All the good stuff.

Plus theres a neat gmail notifier for Firefox.

very coool You can also check your mail for Hotmail using Outlook Express, but I think they stopped it for new emails.
