oh christ, my housemate is a massive giants fan (so much that we had to get the sports channels on our TV just so he could watch them).

he went to the super bash V in london last night to watch the game, now I'm not going to get any peace hearing about how great the game was...

I honestly don't know why people are so suprised..It wasn't that big of an upset. Look at the pats/giants game in the regular season only a few weeks before the superbowl..They were beating the pats the entire first half, and then lost by only three.
