Gateway seems to own every computer store in america or something? Emachine has gateway on there website or do they mean another gateway?

Probably mean Website Gateway - but it is good to hear Gateway are doing good in America. Maybe I can buy my next Computer off them finally! My last Gateway was great, but they don't sell in Europe.

Yeah, I got a DVD Drive with Gateway. Had to ask for it specifically, and it cost £100 more, but it was worth it, eventually. I went to Woolworths when I got it, and asked where their DVDs were. They didn't know what DVDs were Our first DVD was Spice Girls for my Sister from PC World! This was about... 1997? maybe 1998

i got my first gateway back in 98 and its still running fine, though its retired to my grandparten'ts home!!
It had a 2x CD-RW that we payed $150 extra for

Haha, CD-RW in 98! I didn't even know they could be put in a computer back in 98 Just shows how amazing Gateway are again!

gateway is cool. they've consistantly remained in the top 3 for over 10 years. i like them ^_^
