Is the forum layout fixed or is it IE8 doing it?

Looks like IE8 is still a little buggy

It's definitely IE8. I saw an article where the IE8 beta didn't even display one of Microsoft's web pages correctly.

Yea but if i remember rightly:
A) its beta
B) Even for a beta it's really new, bugs are a certainty, thats the point in betas

I heard that ie8 crashes very frequently compared to 7 which still crashes alot for me

No, IE8 doesn't crash for any of my machines (Vista x86 and XP x64), and honestly, I do believe they are updating the HTML engine, so that could be a problem why the layout is crap.
