I also think that quick launch is only good for FireFox, when I have a window open already.

Otherwise I use icons/folders

yeah man, I have nothing better to do, I have media player quick time and MS word on quick launch other then that is use forlders. Fire fox HUMM, should I switch.???

nah i like quick launch for a few programs, and the show desktop thing. i click it a lot and then just have cluttered desktop!
hate start menu though, dont know why, always hated it..... think its cause it used to take so long to come up on my old comp

I use the best of both worlds I prefer to have a couple of folders as toolbars then I have anything that does not multitask well with others as icons and folders.

my quick launch is loaded since i always have stuff open, its way easier, its the only thing i use
