Default Fermi release date is confirmed.

Fermi has been officially confirmed to drop March 26.

I wonder why they haven't released any to review sites yet, with the release a month from now. It seems like if they had any stock, they'd be advertising up the wall.

It makes me think:
A) They don't have nearly enough for a major release.
B) It gets owned by the 5970 (doubt it)
C) The release wasn't planned to be so early, but they did it in response to all the bad rep they were getting for not releasing it yet.

Or it could be something else, we have to wait and see.

EDIT: $499 for GTX 470. I sure wish they had more than two cards for this launch.

no. I doubt it because Nvidia went back and redesigned the whole platform after the 5970 was released.

Note that my sig has that I am saving for the 5970 and I already bought the monitors for eyefinity.

That wasn't a comeback. It was my reasoning as to why fermi would be better than a 5970.
