Personally I think Windows Firewall in SP2 does Security well enough without anything else like Antivirus Programs or Firewall Programs.

I use norton 2003 pro edition. It's the only antivirus i've ever used, i havent even tryed avg or mcafee. I am meaning to though...

Norton is alright for me, I've never had a bad virus.

Lol; I've never had a virus that did anything noticable and I use Windows Firewall

i have norton but i think there are too much options that i dont need........ like spam and email filter..... but i think that mcafee doesnt look good but it has good features

ooh windows firewall....... i seen that b4 but does it actually work....... coz b4 i actually had a firewall program i used that but i got a lot trojans

Windows has a basic firewall that should be sufficient but i would suggest getting a "proper" one.
The firewall you got sounds crap if you managed to get loads of trojans or you had lots of ports open.

Don't rely on Windows Firewall by itself & think your protected....Any forum tech will tell you that one.....
