fallout new vegas game

Hi, i brought fallout 3 for pc, and it lagged abit, my hardware isnt the problem, i have 3gb of ddr3 triple channel ram, and i7 930 processor, and a hd 5830 graphics card, i did some research on it and i found out that its a bug with the gamebryo engine, heres a link to the bug, go down the page till you see the word "note" in bold letters, thats my problem, just wondering if any of you know will i still have this problem with fallout new vegas seeing as it still uses the same engine? i hope not

Hopefully the game devs should have optimised the game engine so you shouldnt have this issue, the only thing you can do is try the game out and hope for the best...

Does GAME have the same policy as they do here? I Think they have a 7 day try before you buy scheme?
