Didnt they stop working together?

got this email today....

I've heard rumors, but Idk. I hope they still are, I'm a fanboy of both companies so I'd be torn if they switched.

The Nvidia logo on there looks promising though.

No, they never stopped working together. There was talk of EVGA wanting to jump ship, but AMD apparently turned them down.

GTX 260 Core 216? Could Nvidia not think of a more ridiculous name?

haha, i got this email too, i was about to post it, but then i was like nah...
i think nvidia products are weird, especially just using the same card and changing the name, like the 8800 and the 9800 series.
why does nvidia always revise their cards?
it sucks when you just bought a new card, then nvidia released a "new and better improved" of the same card with minor differences.
