now that brings back some memories.

how exciting those install screens seemed at the time, when you were setting up your first PC or upgrading to the new better windows system.

1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 were the 80's combatants against Apple, from IBM and Microsoft

the ones that you had to run MS-DOS with xP

Yeah, especially when you were going from 3.1 to 95 or 98 with the whole new desktop and everything. It all looked so revolutionary and exciting when they were telling you about all the new things in windows and the new stuff you'll be able to do. Exactly the way I felt when I was upgrading from 3.1 to 98 back in the day.
