It'd usually take more effort to write that bad... which makes the short hand effort pointless

yeah true, even people that shorten words annoy me though, basically typing how a word sounds rather than how it's spelt properly or even just saying 'dat' instead of 'that' and changing the word for the sake of speaking cool. The most common thing is when people don't know the difference between there/their/they're and your/you're... damn I sound like a grammar nazi lol

i type much faster when i spell everything normal, maybe a couple things like w\o for with out, and FTW, QFT, IMO, etc., but thats just about it.
