Default Email Server

im buildign a website for a friend and its hosted online at the mo not on my computer.

the website is fine and i got domain redirection from reg123 and they offer freee email forwarding.

my hosting company is 0fees and they offer free inbound email so ive got my domain e.g ssc456.co.uk and that is forwarded to my account at 0fees.

so info@ssc456.co.uk is forwarded to info@ssc456.0fees.net

thats inbound i have my inbound email server from 0fees and thats fine. not a problem.

i have recieved emails succesfully but i have a problem with outbound.

i have a static ip and im thinking about hosting my own email server and im wondering if anyone here has any experience of doing this for free?

He who has never failed has never attempted anything worth succeeding at.

Default Re: Email Server

I wouldnt host your own, if i where you. If you have a SMTP account with ANY mail provider (well, nearly any), you can just change your email address, and log in with your normal credentials.

As long as you have an account on the server, you can send emails with and address.

Edit: Why is this in the social lounge? XD
