First off, I guessed it was a joke

Second off, I thought you would have had more sense than to joke about it

Third off, I would have been lacking in my duties if I hadn't mentioned it

And fourth off, I can't help being serious when I make these comments, I can relax & be light-hearted, but lately with the way the forums are getting, I don't have much opportunity....I don't mean this occasion, that's small fry compared to the aggression that's steadily increasing on forums over the last month or so, mainly from a few of the new members, spammers & others, but they soon learn that we at CF don't tolerate that for long.

put that e-mail into all the things for free crap, so they get spam.

but I'm surprised- that guy that they mention that dies? He was actually on the list... and he was a merchant.

When you reply, the harvest your email for spam and they obviously know that you actually read your emails because you have responded.

Here's one I got today:

Hello My Good Friend,

How are you today? Hope all is well with you and your family? I hope
this
mail finds you in an excellent condition of health. But if you do not
remember me, you have received an email from me in the past regarding a
multi-million-dollar business proposal which we never concluded.

I am using this opportunity to inform you that this
multi-million-dollar
business has been concluded with another Greek Merchant who financed it
to
a logical conclusion. I thank you for you're great effort to our
unfinished transfer of fund into your account, due to one reason or the
other best to known you at that time.

Due to the effort, sincerity, courage andtrustworthiness you showed
during
the course of the transaction, I want to compensate you and show my
gratitude to you with the sum of $950,000.00. I have left an
international
certified bank draft for you, worth about $950,000.00 cashable anywhere
in
the world.

My dear friend I will like you to contact my secretary Mr.chukwu henry
and comply with her so that she will send the draft to you without any
delay. At the moment, I 'm very busy here in London,
trying to invest my own share of the funds with my new partner.

Please I will like you to accept this token with good faith as this is
from the bottom of my heart.

CONTACT: Mr.chukwu henry
ADDRESS: No. 46-biafraland Estate, Lagos, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
EMAIL: chukwu_henry_onyekachi@yahoo.dk
PHONE: +234-805-452-4614

Therefore, you should send her your full Name, telephone number and
contact address for her reference and make further arrangement with she
on
how you want to receive your check.

Thanks you in anticipation for your past efforts and God bless you.
