Default electronic help

alright, this has to do with star wars, but not entirley, i am making a stormtrooper gun from pvc and sheet metal, and i am making a scope, i want to put a laser pointer in the scope, to make it like a sniper...

i found a switch on radioshack.com and i whipped this up.

will this work? belive it or not (that isnt my laser, but looks alot like it) the electricty flows out or w/e from that metal lip thing. and is it ok to weld wire to batteries?

it is tuff to explain but the button will be coming out of the little thing

Class 2 laser can and will burn your eyes out for good. If you have no idea what you're doing get some one that does.
