Is it illegal to download tv shows like 24 of something?

Off P2P programs i belive it's illigal.

although ppl who use p2p programs can argue that sharing is better than just downloading off a site. I would still say that its illegal unless you own a legal copy of it. But if you already have a legal copy then why would you download anyways. wierd huh?

I record t.v. shows off my windows xp media center OS and through the tuner card. that's legal for private viewing and as long as you don't sell. yes, but anything like p2p's, or anything that you don't pay for is illegal...
