Do you still type www.

I have had one site in the last 3 years that i had to type www for. I know a couple of ppl that still type it and i have no clue y.

I put it cus then i always know that the web address will work and cus im a fast typer it doesnt really matter to me,

I usually bookmark all the sites that I go to often.

I don't have many bookmarks although i have tons of sites that i go to
I just type in the doman name, like msn, and then i press ctrl+enter, which inserts the www. and the .com, i find that very useful
I hardly ever use the mouse, only to select things, even if i want to change the address bar, i press alt+d, which selects the whole url
I find those very handy

I think there might be something for .org but the rest i don't think so
Most websites go with .com so yea ...

you all sincerly misunderstand the naming systems employed in the internet...

www. is a subdomain, not an optional prefix.

it is possible for http://www.something.com not to be a site at all, whilst http://someting.com is a site...

simillarly, it's possible for http://something.com not to exist at all, whilst www.something.com does exist.

Yes, because some sites don't reslove without it so I always type it in anyway.
