DLing Games

thats how the video game industry makes money.
(example) you buy, you play , you scratch , you buy again.

Now I can understand some worry about cd key generators.. but lets think here..

Take a look at half-life1, it needed a cd key, and there were loads of cd key generators out there. Rumors have it some people were able to use steam with a few of those generated keys. Odds are some perfectly legit people can't play online for that reason alone.

Now take a look at Half-Life2, there are no cd-key generators, why? because there is no installers. There isn't exactly an installer to hack and find keys for.

I personally love the idea of having everything done via steam, if I could have all my games run via steam I wouldn't mind at all.

Do you think video game companies should allow their games to be downloadable? Example if you own a game and it gets scarthed up and you still have the CD key shouldn't you be able to go to that site provide a VALID CD KEY and be able to DL it?

It would be a good idea, but probably make games even easier to get for free...

But then again...

Or you: buy, plan, scratch, limewire!

Or even: want, limewire, always have it!

Or *Cough* Torrentspy *Cough*...

Clears throat..

So that's really nothing new is it?

No idea.... IDK I can't see it making games any easier to priate. IMH there are some games where you can't even priate because theres no keygen for it.
