or the mood of the offense.

The disposition is the sentence or punishment that a young person receives if they have been found guilty of a crime. Therefore the disposition of the offence, is the particular sentence or punishment that a person receives to a particular crime. If a person has commited more then one crime then you may have a number of dipositions.

As far as I am aware this is a term that is relevant to youth justice.
