My friend had a room mate living with him and they had 2 DirectTv Receivers in the house, his room mate moved out and so there was one non used receiver. I have a Direct tv dish on top of my house, so i plugged his non used Receiver into it and only the info channels work, and it told me to call customer service with and ext. witch was 722, so i did the lady told me it was piracy and started being very weird and quiet , so my question is , is there anyway i can get this to work legaly or at all?
