as a new dj'er i recommend http://www.decks.co.uk/products/head...oneer/sedj5000

as Iv'e bought these and my sony wireless aswell.

I got recommended by alot of djs to get these ones, their very good.

Numark are ok, all depends on the frequency response and the ohms impedance on headphones.

If I had the money, I'd get these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826106328

I have a set of Sennheiser HD202's and can say they are good headphones for the price, but seem tight after an hours use or so. Since they don't go all the way around the ears, they hurt my ears because they are tight. They have more bass then some like. If listening to music, they sound good, I kinda want something else now though for video editing...

SENNHEISER HD555 3.5mm/ 6.3mm Connector Circumaural Stereo Headphone

I have had these headphones for about 2 years now, and they are absolutely great! Lots of gamers use them, and they are absolutely wonderful for movies/music. It’s THE most comfortable headphones I ever used, sometimes when I wear them I forget that they are even there, they are that comfortable, check it out, its $107 but they are worth ever penny!

Razer HP-1 Barracuda 8-Channel Gaming Headphones

This is a pair that I currently use! It’s a surround sound headset unlike the HD555's that are stereo. I find HD555's to be a bit more comfortable, but with these you get surround sound & a mic, both work great. I have them for about a year now, with no problems. Check it out!

PS: Amazon has great prices right now for both products, Newegg charges you about $30-$50 more

Let me know if u like any of these choices and tell me which one u leaning towards more, I will then give you more input.

Cheers

Do you have to have the Razer card with the digital audio DVI port to use those headphones or do they come with a converter?

Well what are you using them for? Music, gaming movies...a combination? The Razer ones will be best for gaming, but probably not your best bet for music.
