Darn it, I already have the book

The gal I'm training is a WOW player. There's this book about one of the characters that she wanted bad. Her other half got her the book for Christmas. She had not read one sentence in the book. One of their dogs pulled the book out of the book case and shredded every last page.
So much for her bathroom reading material.

That had to suck. I bet she was mad!

Owned quite a few dogs sense I was a kid. Got to lock your stuff up. Never assume its out of their reach.

Example; Our dog Jana (chiwawa and Yorkie mix) got into a bag of chocolate chips that we had left on our kitchen counter. She had never gotten up there before, and we had no reason to believe that she would be able to that day. Long story short, her life was saved by the vet. But that will teach you to underestimate your dog.
EDIT: I should also state that they where being left out to warm up a bit, and we where not home. 10 mins away from the house, and half that bag was gone.
