Default The Cutty Sark badly damaged by fire

At approximately 4.45 am yesterday the Cutty Sark was gutted by a fierce blaze at her berth at Greenwich, fire crews fought the flames for hours but were unable to save most her superstructure, there is a strong possibility that it was an act of vandalism.
The Cutty Sark was launched in 1869, for most of her existence she was a tea clipper, I'm not sure but she may have been invoved in the infamous "Boston Tea Party"
If it can't be restored it is said that it'll be a great loss, thousands visit the site each year, & she was heralded the greatest sailing ship of all time, their words not mine, I'm thinking of HMS Victory which is at Portsmouth my home town, or the one Christopher Columus sailed forth in, seeking to find "the new world"
