CS:S && HL2

Anyone here know what the system requirements are for Counter-Strike:Source and HL2 or watever runs on that engine.

The source engine is very scaleable. It works well with computers that are crap as well as top of the line models.

What the requirements are:

Operating System: Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
Processor: 1.2 Ghz processor
RAM: 256 MB of RAM
Video Card: DirectX 7 compatible graphics card

So does CS have anything to do with the HL2 engine?

CS: Source is supposedly running on the Half Life 2 engine, so I'd imagine it has something to do with it, I've played the beta and graphically it doesn't seem quite up to par with HL2, but still much better than previous CS expansions and such.

The first person arm model is the best one ever created.

HL2 looks about the same, the only knock is shadows. Its not as impressive these days but it still looks nice.

Wait a sec, so what exactly do you need to buy to play counterstrike 2?

you need to buy hl2 i believe. You can get the whole bundle on steam and extras like all the old games on the new engine.
