If he overclocks then he could easily get his current CPU up to or even beyond E6600 performance. And anyway, the E6600 is way outdated now, it's already been replaced twice, first by the E6750, and recently by the E8400.

Actually the E6750 is weaker architecture. It has a lower multi and a lot less overclock potential.

But yes the E8400 would be a smarter choice for him to upgrade too.

Does the E6750 not have a 6-9 multiplier?

Crysis isn't really a good game anyway...who cares...there are a ton of games that are much more worth your time than Crysis.

Yes I suppose that does retrict it a bit and the G0 stepping doesn't make up for it.

Agree entirely. It's repetetive, the AI is awful and the storyline is rubbish.
