Default Crysis makes me Cry!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys I don't know if it is my pc or what. I have e4300(stock), 8800gtx, p5b deluxe, 2 GB ram and I run the game at my monitor's native resolution at 1680X1050 and I get 20-25 frames on high settings with no AF and AA. This is bulshit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When there is lots of action on screen I get 15-18frames. Anyone has any advice???

That's not too bad considering you have a 1.8GHz dual core.

I would suggest running the game on medium settings and turning off motion blur and turning down, or off, post processing.

As others have suggested you next upgrade should be a better cpu. If you can't afford a new one then start overclocking yours. With some decent cooling you should be able to pick up around 5-7FPS with a decent overclock.

Also download Riva Tuner and overclock your GPU to pick up a few more fps.

Yes, the speed increase from overclocking a C2D is very noticable.
