Default Cheapest option for mobile internet for laptop?

Besides wifi hotspot, what's the cheapest way to get mobile internet for a laptop?

The speed that I'm look for 15KB/S to 20KB/s

Nothing cheaper as far as I know.

That plan is a total waste of time.. and money.

You Should look up EVDO if your phone or laptop supports it, its an easy way to get 100kbps+ internet from your phone to your laptop

just as root assasin has said. i tether my regular phone to my laptop.


in the UK you can find all kind of reasonably deals,

for example most companies offer packages where for £20 a month you get 3GB download limit, average speed like you;re asking, (location dependant). and they'll also give you a free laptop as well.
(minumin contract term is usually 24 months).

look around at the phone suppliers websites and see what you can get.

i can connect my phone to my laptop or just use it on its own, and when i get a call it just puts the data connection on hold. so its just like broadband in a way, i just cant use the internet when on the phone.

what country are you from anyway? people are just assuming the US here
