I think the idea is that its safer than a standard card connected to your account, because if the account gets stolen, they only get the money in the balance of the card, and not your entire account.

Paypal works the same way though if I'm not mistaken.

The one thing that would put me off about this product, if if you read, it states that it charges you to buy with it...

yer your right, it cost me 3 bloody pound and then 1.95 to get it upgraded to reloadable but if you work then sure you can afford it, but anyway its what you like to use.
