This is by far the funniest complaint letter I have ever, ever read :D :D It's a letter sent to Richard Branson, the owner of the Virgin brand (in this case Virgin airlines) complaining about the food - I had tears rolling out of my eyes by the time I'd reached the end of it :D :D :D

I read in the footnote he called the customer. What was the outcome of that? Any freebies or compensation on the next flight?

Richard Branson called him in person:

Sir Richard later telephoned him personally to apologise and invited him to select the food and wines for future Virgin flights.
 
branson seems like a pretty cool guy to me. i knew he'd ring up the person.
any other company would just send out some crappy £10 off voucher or something.
