Sports movies all basically suck. They have the same plotline everytime.

A team/a person on the team is having problems, so they/him/her overcome those problems (which the movie devotes most of its run time to) and win the final game/tournament in the movie. They all follow this same formula.

That's true. But a lot of sports movies are based on real events so that makes them more interesting.
