Battery powered outlet?

Is there such thing as a battery powered outlet? I have a little thing that has to be plugged in but I would like to be able to move it around. I dont care if the battery runs out too quickly, but basically im looking for an outlet that gets the power from batteries (so it would be portable). Thanks

Yeah there is, I made one from spare parts in my shed and then a year later I found one in a walmart It runs out pretty fast so just use rechargable batteries The ones in stores dont even use batteries you supply, it has built in ones that you recharge


theres also those surge protectors that last 6 hours after power goes out

The surge protector was called a Backup power supply, If you give me a while I can find out the brand

And the rechargable batteries I dont know what theyre called, Just ask someone in the store for rechargable power supplies lol *shrug*
