Default A bass amp and a pedal

These are what I have left after I sold off my guitars and an amp. I haven't played for about two years and now I thought I wanna noodle on one.

So I hit the best of $200 guitars site and found a nice one, the Epiphone LP Special II in black. Lots of good reviews about it.

Then I decided to look at the best of $300 guitars and I hit a home run. A Parker PDF30 in black but for $200 new. They came out in 2013 but now discontinued. Good specs and good reviews.

It's now in shipment. Check it out.

The Parker PDF30

Mine is the David Gilmour Edition black Strat from the Fender Custom Shop. It has all the same pickups and even the extra switch to throw the bridge pick up in on any position. I added some copper cladding inside the cavities after I bought it to help fight any hum.

That would be nice but I can't play too well anymore. I thought I can get back into it but it doesn't look good.

Check out Rocksmith. It's a game for PC, PS and xbox. you can relearn the chords play games that teach you the basics again, and it's fun to mess with even if you know the chords and notes by heart.

I remember all that. It's my disabilities that's my problem.

And on top of aging.

You are not old Celery, you are still in your prime...

Besides we men are like a fine wine, we get better with age.

Found an interesting amp on Reverb. They want $100 for it new and I Googled it for prices and found one on Amazon for $50 new so I ordered it because they only have a few. I pawned my pedal to do it and yes I will get it back out next month. That's a $400 pedal and I borrowed only $50 on it.

It's cool as heck.

Runs on batteries or 9V PSU. Very convenient.

I have another amp on my radar and I might get it next month.

Being a Fender man, I went with the Mustang 2 v2 modeling amp.

I like being able to download presets and play with or without a band track.

I have the Fender Rumble 25 bass amp and the Adrenalinn III pedal (what I had left). 200 presets and 200 drum pattern all programmable. Also have the MIDI/USB cable to hook the ADIII to my computer.

This pedal have FXes that you won't find on amps and pedals.

This used to be my setup before I sold the guitar and the tube amp:

Here's a video showing a little of the features of the modeling amp. It can sound like a tube amp, a metal amp, or a lot of classic American and British amps and you can put virtual effects pedals in front of the amp, or add rack mount effects after the amp and before the cabinet.
It's really pretty versatile.

I have four on the list for considerations. I DLed the manuals to study.

Blackstar ID CORE 20

Fender Mustang I v2

Fender Champion 20

Vox VX1

By the way, check out some of the features of the Adrenalinn III. It is loaded.

The Mustang will emulate the champion or the vox so it's like buying all 3.
